Meetings, Journeys and Partings
In March of 2024, we gathered altogether for the first time. Some of us had shared journeys together before, others were meeting for the first time. We spoke and we listened, we tried to show each other a little of our own worlds. We parted, taking a little of each other with us.
Edinburgh

We gathered in Edinburgh to hear from different perspectives and traditions. Storytellers, political leaders, dancers, scientists, filmmakers, musicians.
The conference hosted presentations and talks, and provided an opportunity for many of us to talk and learn from one another for the first time.
Forsinard
We travelled North. First to Thurso for song and sustenance, and then back south to Scotland's Flow Country for science and stories. We shared our own words, found our own steps, and made space for silence. We stood and witnessed a landscape that is slowly recovering as a result of research, perseverance and learning to hear the stories of the land.
